About the writer of this unit of work
Amanda Worlley is a teacher librarian from the Gold Coast, Queensland who is currently employed in an independent school working with students from Prep to Year 6. She is passionate about using quality children’s literature for teaching and learning and has a special interest in multiliteracies and using information and communication technologies (ICTs). Amanda instigates professional development in using ICTs and has presented at an interactive whiteboard conference. She is a sessional tutor/lecturer at Griffith University and has taught multiliteracies, ICT for teaching and learning, numeracy and literacy in the curriculum, mathematics education and the collegial classroom.
